In a recent post, Becky Robinson challenged leaders to be who we are, and that we should let folks know who we are.
So here I am…letting you know, who I am.

I am Philip Ronald Gerbyshak.
Please call me Phil.
I’m a speaker, a writer, a manager, an instructor.
I’m a boyfriend, a son, a brother, a friend, and an uncle.
My 5 strengths, according to the Gallup StrengthsFinder are:

I’m the oldest of 3 boys.
I have 4 nieces and 1 nephew.
All of this plays into how I lead, and why I am the way I am.
If you want to work well with me, it might help you understand these things about me.
That’s who I am.
Who are YOU?

I am half Swedish and Canadian (of Welsh decent) and am the first US born member in the family. Outside of speaking English, I know some Swedish, Spanish, and sign language.
I have several nieces and nefews … of which one niece is an Olympic hopeful.
Nice to meet you Phil and Scott!
I’m Melissa.
I have not read StrengthsFinder, but it is now on my list as I like to read and am always looking for tools to help me learn more about my strengths and how I can use them for the greater good.
My Myers-Briggs profile has changed over time — I used to be INFP (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceiving), but now I’m more toward ENFP. Introversion comes out now and again, though.
I am passionate about helping others reach their goals. This has led me to work in nonprofit management for 15 years. Now, I write a blog and tweet to help job seekers.
I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
I have two children.
I am the fifth of six children.
I have a gaggle of nieces and nephews.
Hi Becky, You certainly aren’t me! You aren’t old enough or fat enough:)
In spite of my advanced years I am still a work in progress, currently going through a major shift and am waiting to see what comes out of it.
Thanks for your kind words about my blog. I wrote a companion piece to yours at my other blog http://mappingcompanysuccess.com/2009/11/who-are-you/
Hi Phil, That’s what I get for being a four star general in the Space Cadets. I posted the previous comment here instead of Becky’s blog. Oh well, I will now post it there:)
